Modal is a high-quality fabric manufactured by spinning beech tree cellulose, and is also called artificial silk for its special characteristics. It is breathable, soft, smooth and lightweight, it absorbs moisture and is warmer than cotton. Also made with combed cotton, which is made extra soft by combing out the short threads.
- This type of cotton is also smoother, stronger, more wear-resistant and shinier than regular cotton. Elastane makes this regular-fit garment stretchier, more wrinkle-resistant, more durable and easier to care for, as well as helping it to retain its original visual appeal.
