If possible, try to wash the garment sparingly. To keep the jacket or coat clean, you can remove individual stains separately. You can wash most AUDIMAS coats and jackets on a gentle washing machine cycle at a low temperature using mild detergents. However, always read the product care labels carefully before washing. We recommend that when washing, you make sure that all fasteners and zippers are closed so that these parts do not damage the material of the jacket or coat during washing. In order to ensure that down coats, jackets or other clothes last as long as possible and do not lose their aesthetic appearance, carefully follow the information indicated on the care labels on the product.
Ski jackets should be selected considering the information provided on the product label. It usually indicates the main characteristics of the product: water resistance and breathability. For skiing in the mountains, we advise you to choose a jacket and other outerwear made of materials with a water resistance of at least 5 000–10 000 mm and an air permeability of at least 5 000–10 000 g/sq. mm in 24 hours.
For varying weather conditions, it is worth choosing ski jackets with different fillings – synthetic or down. For example, in cold and wet weather, we recommend choosing a ski jacket with synthetic fillings because they keep your warm and prevent the body from cooling down, which wet down cannot do. We recommend choosing down ski jackets when cold but dry weather prevails.
Jackets should be chosen considering a few main selection criteria: functional properties of the clothing, individual needs, and lifestyle. After you evaluate all these aspects, it will be much easier to find the right outerwear. When choosing winter jackets and coats, you should first pay attention to the insulation of the garment – whether it is synthetic or down – and its weight. When choosing a jacket, also take into account the functionality of the garment, for example: whether you need pockets inside or outside the product, whether a detachable hood and button-down collar is useful, whether you looking for a garment that does not require special care, etc.
Thermore Ecodown® is a synthetic fibre insulation material, which contains 100% polyester. Thermore Ecodown® insulation is used in the production of jackets and other clothing. Thermore Ecodown® insulation stands out for its particular softness, very light weight, warmth comparable to down, and breathability. Although this insulation is very light, it provides excellent protection against wind and rain. An important feature of Thermore Ecodown® is a special finish that prevents fibre from migrating to the surface. Thermore Ecodown® insulation is easy to care for and remains intact even after many washing cycles.
SENSITIVE® knitwear is unique in that it is very elastic and light warp polyamide knitwear (warp knitting is a type of knitting when the loops of a row are made of individual threads and a whole system of threads is needed to make one such row; such knitwear is dense and stable like fabric but, at the same time, very elastic). SENSITIVE® knitwear is perfectly breathable, absorbs moisture and evaporates it very quickly. Clothes made of SENSITIVE® knitwear look like they are made of fabric: they fall lightly, fit beautifully, and also do not restrict movement and retain their shape perfectly. SENSITIVE® knitwear protects against UV rays and cools in hot weather. Another distinction is that the production of this material does not harm the environment.
